SeaTrepid Appoints Caba as Vice President of Operations
SeaTrepid absorbs Reliant Subsea, Inc. and Appoints Joseph Caba as Vice President of Operations
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Robert, LA, May 15, 2009 – SeaTrepid International LLC announced today that an agreement has been reached to absorb the operations and equipment of Reliant Subsea, Inc. of Santa Barbara, California and appoint Joe Caba as a principal within SeaTrepid as well as SeaTrepid’s Vice President of Operations (a newly created position). “We are extremely pleased with Joe’s coming aboard. We have worked extensively with Joe in the past and welcome this joining of forces. Joe brings with him a deep pool of experience in all types of ROV systems from a broad range of industries.” said Bob Christ, SeaTrepid's President and founder.
Prior to joining SeaTrepid, Caba had been a principal in Reliant Subsea as well as Cabaco Marine International specializing in ROV services worldwide. Joe has a B.S. in Aeronautical Engineering from CalPoly and spent his early career as a program manager at Lockheed-Martin in their undersea vehicles division.
