2007 - Released to book stores in August 2007 is the first observation
class ROV manual "The ROV Manual" available now through most major book outlets including Amazon.com, BarnesandNoble.com and Elsevier.com
2006 - Supported various major
oil companies (Apache, Tetra Applied Technologies, Pioneer, BP, ExxonMobil,
Dominion, W&T Offshore and others) with repairs as well as decommissioning
of wells with damages sustained from the storms of 2005 in the Gulf
of Mexico.
2006 - Performed level 2 platform
inspections with ROVs at various locations in the Gulf of Mexico
with observation class ROV systems.
2006 - Performed oil spill tracking
of the DBL 152 oil spill South of Port Arthur, TX in conjunction
with NOAA, USCG and various federal and state environmental agencies.
2005 - Performed ROV support
work in conjunction with The Academy of Applied Science during the
survey of Loch Ness, Scotland in support of "various scientific
projects".
2005 - Wrote the first US Coast
Guard ROV Port Security Manual for the Homeland Security Operations
Directorate.
2004 - Located the canopy and
assisted in victim recovery from the Water Taxi accident in Baltimore
Harbor in April 2004 with the Baltimore Fire Department and Marine
Sonic receiving international
press coverage.
2003 - Performed an internal
wreck survey of a DC-3 aircraft shot down by a Russian MiG-15 during
the Cold War for the Swedish Navy in 425 fsw.
2003 - Performed cave surveys
in conjunction with the National Geographic Society in the Northern
Yucatan of Mexico during the "Ring Cenote" project featured
in the September, 2003 edition of National Geographic Magazine.
2003 - Performed an accident
investigation with the US National Park Service into the wreck of
a B-29 into Lake Mead in 1948 with footage featured on the Discovery
Channel.
2002 - Performed an investigation
of the 1929 disappearance of a couple into a clear lake in Washington
State. Footage from this expedition was featured on The Discovery
Channel.
2001 - Footage from another expedition
to the USS Arizona featured in the History Channel's "Save our
History". Gained extensive scientific data in support of ongoing
preservation efforts by the US National Park Service.
2001 - Successfully completed
an investigation with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms
uncovering items of evidence during the burning incident of a boat
belonging to President George W. Bush.
2000 and 2001 - Performed the
first internal wreck survey of the USS Arizona since its sinking
in WW2. The footage gained during that expedition was featured on
the National Geographic documentary "Pearl Harbor: Legacy of
Attack". Bob Christ (a SeaTrepid Principal) is named in the
credits. The project was featured in the July 2001 edition of National
Geographic Magazine.
